B.S.K.A's Chief Instructor, Sensei Ady Gray - 5th Dan
Sensei Ady started karate with the S.K.I in 1978, achieving his 1st Dan from Japanese master Asano Sensei 9th Dan. In 1985 and in November 2009 was promoted and awarded 5th Dan by Sensei Hazard 7th Dan and the A.S.K. Sensei Ady has trained with some of the Worlds Top Karate-Ka including Sensei Hazard 7th Dan, Sensei Seto 7th Dan JKA Sensei Sugimoto 6th Dan, & Sensei Otto O.B.E. 9 Times World Kumite Champion. to name a few.

He has also trained in Japan on two separate occasions Sensei Ady has had success at numerous regional and national competitions including a Silver medal at the S.K.I National Championships. However Ady has had most success as a coach and has produced 9 National Bronze medallists , 6 silver & 1 Bronze British medallists - not to mention regional results.

One of Ady’s Bigest honours was to become the 1st North Yorkshire Sports Coach of the year, and also to be nominated for the sport England Coach of the year. 2004 Sensei Gray is now The B.S.K.A Chief Instructor.
